Very nice restaurant with a large beer garden right on the pedestrian zone. The menu is extensive and there is something for every taste. I am always very satisfied with Mohrenplatz! I will gladly come again.

Very nice restaurant with a large beer garden. The service is attentive and friendly. The menu offers varied Bavarian cuisine with a good price / performance ratio. Was there three times and always very satisfied.

My wife and I wanted to have lunch at Fischer's Mohrenplatz today at 1 p.m. After we didn't want to sit outside, we went into the almost empty guest room. The waitress offered us a small table in the back area despite the empty restaurant. We did not agree with this place because it was narrow and in the next room. When asked why we couldn't take a seat at one of the many empty tables in the main room, the staff told us, for an unfriendly and incomprehensible reason, that if larger groups might come they would not have a place. At that time there were 4 guests in the restaurant! Despite repeated requests for another table, the waitress informed us that no other table was available for two people. Because of this statement, we left the restaurant. As we unfortunately have to find out again and again, German gastronomy does not understand how to treat guests as guests. We then went to an Italian restaurant where we received a friendly welcome and were able to choose a table of our choice - that's how you treat guests. We will definitely not visit Fischers`s Mohrenplatz again. Unfortunately it is not possible to assign 0 stars. We wish every success to Fischer 'Mohrenplatz with this way of treating us to guests.

Great service, really good food, nice ambiance, good adherence to safe Covid protocols both by personnel and facilities layout without breaking the ambiance. Definitely going to visit again.

Reasonable, neat and clean inn, suitable for the city. For tourist conditions with still fair prices and a clear menu that offers the best delicacies in the region. Exactly the kind of restaurant that you would like to visit in this holiday destination. The portions are easy to fill up and the taste is very good. All around great local cuisine. The seating is comfortable. This also applies to the beer garden seating. The staff is very friendly. Only the somewhat long waiting time, both for the main order and for subsequent drink requests, was a little long - hence a star deduction. Maybe it was because of the big crowd, but that's the way it is in the high season (we were there in summer 2019). Definitely a restaurant for me that I will visit again.

Service tried very hard but didn't pay much attention to us after the food was served. Sat at a small, uncomfortable high table on which not even all the dishes fit. The food was okay, only the meat was unfortunately very dry. Interior is very nice! Overall, I'm used to different things in Garmisch. Maybe it's different in the evening service because we were there in the afternoon.

Popped in to eat spontaneously on the way through. The weather was good enough to sit in the beautiful beer garden. Super friendly and courteous staff. Fast service and really tasty food. Highly recommended!

If you want to eat well and comfortably in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, you are in the right place at Fischers Mohrenplatz. Very nice waitresses, good food, cozy atmosphere. A bit too stiff in the furnishings on the upper floor. Bavarian is more cozy downstairs. A large beer garden is also part of it. Prices are in the normal range. In the men's toilet upstairs, the soap dispenser was unfortunately torn from the wall and could not be used.

Great, tastefully designed outdoor area. Blankets are available for colder hours. The service was very friendly and quick! And there was a fantastic Kaiserschmarrn. Unfortunately I was just passing through, otherwise I would be a regular here!

Recommended restaurant, Service is very nice and courteous. The selection is manageable but there is something for everyone. Prices are completely okay for the food offered. We found the woman unpleasant (apparently she had something to say) who called to her employees over the terrace that she should please pay attention to the hygiene. You can interpret it however you want. Still highly recommended

Great beer garden, friendly and brisk service and also very child-friendly. The children's chairs are clean and have no traces from their predecessor. Ordered food and drinks are served very quickly and taste very good!

Food 9/10 Service 9/10, first our cutlery was forgotten. This was only brought to us on request. Otherwise very quickly and friendly We paid around 50 euros for a starter, main course and drinks - so the price was okay

Service very friendly and helpful, sometimes a bit forgetful even though the inn wasn't overcrowded. The boss is the rudeness in person. I waited over 25 minutes for my main course even though all the next tables were already served and ordered their food. When asked, I was treated very rude by the boss and presented as a liar, because his opinion is not true that I would wait over 25 minutes. Impossible behavior towards a guest. I can still read the time and besides, the guy doesn't know the sentence “customer is king” !! Unfortunately I didn't feel like a king but a squire. I did not accept the main course that was served during the discussion with the boss. Just pay quickly and get out of the circus. Never ever eat and drink here. Not recommended. Regarding the name MOHRENplatz one can also become thoughtful in our time, especially with the behavior of the boss !!!

Extremely friendly service. We had dinner in the beer garden when the weather was nice (reservation recommended, by phone only possible for 6:00 p.m.) Extremely quick preparation. Wait 5 minutes for beer, another 5 minutes for food. What more do you want!? Gladly again

Nice restaurant with friendly staff. I love it when the owner takes care of everything like every other employee. We got a table for 2 really quickly on a saturday evening. All other places were booked out and we were quite hungry. In Bayern generally the food is served in max. 10 Minutes record time. I am surprised how fast they move (also with handmade dishes). The food was delicious! I recomend it despite only 4 Star reviews. Just try yourself!

Open large garden to eat. This is a big advantage of this place. You can sit down to drink wine or a drink and watch people walking along the main avenue. Standard Bavarian food is ok. For those who just want to drink beer there is a separate entrance and a couple of tables which are a beer garden.

Great views, average food, terrible service: I have been at Fischer‘s Mohrenplatz several times, and one goes there for the location more than other thing. Last weekend, a friend decided to reserve a table to have dinner after hiking for 4 people. Two of us arrived there on time, and warned the waiter the other two were arriving 10 min later, so we ordered drinks. What came down after that was something I’ve never experienced before. After he comes back, and decides to deny our drinks, as it’s dinner time, we try to argue with him, that we are going to order dinner, even for the other two if that’s the problem. This waiter, the rudest I‘ve ever encountered, does not only denies us an explanation, he doesn’t accept any compensation and leaves the table without taking any order. After 15 minutes waiting there, he comes back, we asked him again and he tells us, as rudely as before, that we are not going to be attended whatsoever. All of this, because apparently we had to order dinner, what we offered, even for 4! That was a terrible offense, apparently. But having us siting next to an empty table for 20 min, apparently isn’t... never again

The restaurant is in a prime location in the pedestrian zone. The beer garden is huge. The inside of the restaurant is very cozy. The service was very friendly. I personally think the food is brilliant. The crispy pork knuckle is a dream. Crunchy skin and tender flesh that falls off the bone. The portions are large enough that real men will get full of it :-). There are also smaller portions of many dishes. The menu is extensive and regional Bavarian. For me, this is a very clear recommendation.

Late Saturday lunch with family. Traditional decoration with friendly service. Portions were large enough (like typically they are in this part of the country) and beer was fresh and cold. Hapily continued our journey towards Austria. Speciality seemed to be kids under 10 yrs drinking beer (could have been non alcoholic). Bavarian habit?

Typical Bavarian beer restaurant with a good and tasty selection of food. Service was friendly and efficient. Nice outdoor area with deck chairs (probably only during the winter season). Right in the centre of the pedestrian area. Rather pricey and aimed at tourists.

The food and service was good. They have a small play area. Ensure to sit at a table with a cloth if you plan to eat or just for drinks pick any table. Unfortunately, the high amount of bees ruined our experience.

Very friendly and cozy atmosphere. Wait staff worked effectively together to ensure your food was delivered hot and you needed anything. Delicious local fare.

Friendly waiters, also the food tasted well after it was served pretty fast. Took a while until the waiters notices us, although it wasn't that crowded. Location is nice, prices are okay/average.

I really liked the place, had a good atmosphere, good vibe. Staff was helpful and friendly, food was OK, but nothing special. I really liked the interior though, and that everyone was smiling.
